For this redesign, I stepped away from purely digital artwork to explore a more traditional and fine-art-driven concept.

The centerpiece of the cover is an original, hand-painted oil canvas featuring a Mediterranean inspired portrait: a woman adorned with a yellow floral headscarf, a soft blue blouse, and holding a lemon in her hands. Her neutral, melancholic gaze reflects the silent emotions and subtle beauty found within the story.

After scanning the painting in high resolution, I brought it into the digital realm to complete the book cover. I paired the rich texture and vibrant colors of the oil paint with clean, understated typography, allowing the artwork to tell its own story while giving the book a modern, editorial aesthetic.
