Hey, I'm Cala.
The artist behind Cala de Lune.
I am an Italian artist working between traditional painting and digital illustration.
My work is deeply rooted in emotion, intuition, and the exploration of the inner world.
Through my practice, I create images that exist in a suspended space somewhere between reality and imagination, where the feminine, the night, and symbolism become central elements of my visual language.
Through my work, I collaborate with both emerging and established brands, creative projects, and independent initiatives, translating ideas and stories into visual narratives.
Each artwork and illustration becomes a dialogue between vision and interpretation, a way to transform ideas into evocative images that resonate beyond the surface.

My work is an exploration of what cannot always be seen, but can be deeply felt.
I am interested in the quiet moments, in the invisible connections, and in the emotional landscapes that shape our inner lives.
The female figure often becomes a vessel, a presence through which I investigate vulnerability, strength, silence, and transformation.
Light plays a central role in my work, especially the symbolic and emotional quality of moonlight. It represents intuition, introspection, and the subtle tension between presence and absence.
Each artwork is not just an image, but a space, an invitation to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with something deeper.
Process & Approach
Each project begins with listening.
Whether I am working on a personal piece or a commissioned project, I take time to understand the essence behind an idea, its atmosphere, its meaning, and the emotions it carries.
From there, I translate these elements into visual form, creating images that are both intuitive and intentional.
My process moves between control and spontaneity, allowing space for the unexpected while remaining connected to the core of the concept.
